Regular Cricket Training

Who it is for

Regular Cricket Training

Young players and beginners building their technique, and club players who want consistent, coached practice through the week.

Regular Training is where most SCA players start and where the fundamentals are built. Players work on grip, stance, footwork and action in the nets, carry that work into fielding drills and game situations, and are corrected by the coach in the session — not left to work it out alone. Fitness is trained alongside the skills, so the technique holds up late in a long innings or spell.

What it includes

  • Batting & bowling technique
  • Fielding
  • Fitness training
  • Match scenarios

Benefits

What a player gets from it.

  • Regular contact time with the coaching team

  • Technical correction repeated often enough to hold

  • Training alongside players at a similar level

Coaching team

The people who run the sessions.

SCA’s coaches and fitness trainers work with players directly in every session. The door is open: players and parents can talk to the coaches about progress at any time, and feedback is specific — what to change, and why.

One-to-One Coaching is for a specific technical problem or a trial. The High Performance Camp (HPC) is a full October–May season for committed players, and the Elite Performance Group is for advanced, competitive players.
